The architecture is called dbentity, a framework for accelerating the development of web applications.

Over the past three years, Robocommerce has succeeded in developing a framework that allowed it to dramatically shrink its codebase, making the back-end clean and easy to manage and adapt to the needs of customers.

This release is a subsection of the Robocommerce infrastructure, the data-tier, and Robocommerce hopes that it will spur a movement to improve the capabilities of PHP developers all over the world.
